On Wednesday, 20th June 2018 I was doing readings at Body, Mind & Soul in Houston. The reading room is located at the back of the store with French doors facing the store. I had several readings that day and during one of them I noticed a friend of mine looking at a display cabinet. She had her back to me. I was so happy to see her she had never been to the store before. As I was finishing up my reading she turned to the left as if she was about to leave so I saw her face however she redirected her attention to the display cabinet. Minutes later when the reading was over I walked my client out and was surprised to find that my friend was nowhere to be seen. I found it odd that she had not waited to say hello as we have been friends for years.
I gave a full description of my friend to one of my co-workers at the store to see if she remembered either seeing her or serving her. The answer was ‘no’ on both counts. It was on my mind as I drove home shortly thereafter as nobody in the store remembered seeing her. I soon forgot about it when I got home as I had some work to do.
Today I decided to call her to see if she actually went to the store as something felt strange about the entire experience. When I told her what happened she told me that she had not gone to the store and that if she had, she would have made a point of saying hello to me. Then it dawned on me that I had seen my very first doppelganger!

Very interesting, many years ago my mother in law accused me of being in a shop and ‘spending’ my husbands well earned money…I was at work this particular day.. turned out I have a doppelganger as over the next few years many people had seen me in various places.. this was when we lived in Watford
I told my son that I think I have one since on too many occasions to count people have told me they saw “ME”,,,and then as they approached “me” they either realized it wasn’t me or that “I” was gone…Example…I went to the supermarket and when I told the butcher my order he said “Your back?” and I told him I had not been in the store for a couple of days…
My son told me if I see my “Doppleganger” to quickly leave and not interact.

It will not cause you any harm if you do talk to your ‘double’ although it might feel odd. However rarely do we actually see them close up. Love, Cynthia

I was working on home improvement projects and went into the same store at regular intervals. One particular clerk (there were only 2 there) said every time I went in….you are back again LOL. You were here yesterday, or along those lines, many times. I every case I was able to say easily and quickly, not true. After 4-5 times I realized a doppelganger. The clerk was so absolutely convinced it was me.

I bumped into my doppelganger when I waw 5 or 6 years old at a summer camp. We just stared at each other. It felt really weird at the time. That is all that I remember other than we both may have been buying something from the ice cream snack truck that visited the camp on the weekends. I never saw him again even though I was staying at the summer camp.
