Myths About Angels

Angels and their origins have long been the subject of curiosity. Unfortunately most of the information written about them is completely inaccurate.

1. One of the most common misconceptions about angels is that they do not have a physical form however this is not true. All angels are humans.

2. Many people believe that angels are a different species from humans and that they have different origins from ours. The fact is that all angels in the Universe are human beings whose origins are the same as ours. This means that we all have the same Creator.

3. Angels have always been portrayed as humans with wings. In reality angels do not have wings attached to their physical form however there are times when angels appear in energy form with wings in order not to frighten the people they are visiting. Wings also symbolize peace.

4. Another misconception about angels is that they are neither male or female. This is simply not true! Angels are either male or female just like we are!

5. Angels have been depicted throughout the ages carrying swords however this is misleading. Angels do not carry weapons of any kind nor do they have the need to.

6. It is said that angels cannot be in more than one place at a time but this is not correct. Angels have the ability to replicate which enables them to be in multiple places simultaneously.

7. There are people who write about ‘fallen angels’ and their ‘evil deeds’. This is a complete fallacy. Angels are kind and compassionate people who are here to guide and protect us.

Very interesting, and I have seen an Angel in a white ball of light that transformed into a being/Angel but there was no wings. This was the night my mother in law passed away unexpectedly. Also I know of a certain person who doesn’t have wings Thank you for clearing up this misconception.
